ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. is committed to ensuring equal access and participation for people with disabilities. We are dedicated to integration and to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely and effective manner. This means actively identifying, removing, and preventing barriers to accessibility across our operations, communications, and workplace practices. Our commitment is rooted in the principles of Ontario’s accessibility laws, and we will continue to evolve our policies and procedures to meet and exceed these requirements.

 

Multi‑Year Accessibility Plan (2026–2030)

1. Introduction

ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. is committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive, barrier-free environment for employees, contractors, clients, and visitors. This Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines the steps we will take between 2026 and 2030 to meet and exceed the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). The plan supports our Accessibility Policy and reflects our commitment to dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity. The plan will be reviewed annually, updated at least every five years, and made available in accessible formats upon request.

2. Accessibility Goals (2026–2030)

2.1 Customer Service

Objectives: Ensure all customer-facing interactions are accessible and respectful; maintain staff competency in supporting assistive devices, service animals, and support persons. Actions: Annual refresher training; review and update customer-facing materials; maintain disruption notices. Timeline: 2026–2030 ongoing.

2.2 Information & Communications

Objectives: Ensure all public information is available in accessible formats; improve internal communication accessibility. Actions: Create request process; audit public documents; ensure accessible emergency procedures. Timeline: 2026–2030 ongoing.

Website Accessibility (WCAG 2.0 AA)

ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. is committed to ensuring that its public website and web content conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA, in accordance with the AODA Information and Communications Standards. We will review and update our web content regularly to maintain accessibility and address any identified barriers.

2.3 Employment Standards

Objectives: Embed accessibility throughout the employment lifecycle. Actions: Accommodation statements in postings; interview and onboarding accommodations; maintain accommodation and emergency plans; train managers. Timeline: 2026–2030 ongoing.

2.4 Training & Awareness

Objectives: Ensure all employees understand AODA responsibilities. Actions: Provide onboarding training; annual refreshers; maintain training records. Timeline: 2026–2030 ongoing.

2.5 Procurement

Objectives: Integrate accessibility into procurement decisions. Actions: Update procurement procedures; train purchasing staff; document exceptions. Timeline: 2026–2030 ongoing.

Future Accessibility Considerations

Should ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. undertake the construction or redevelopment of public spaces, applicable accessibility requirements under the AODA will be incorporated into the planning and implementation of those projects.

3. Barrier Identification & Removal

Methods: Annual audits; review feedback; consult employees; collaborate across departments. Examples: Physical, technological, organizational, and attitudinal barriers.

4. Feedback & Continuous Improvement

Accessibility-related feedback may be submitted by email ([email protected]), in person (Human Resources Department, Head Office, or a member of the Management Team), or through accessible formats upon request. Responses will be provided within 10 business days.

5. Review & Updates

The plan will be reviewed annually, updated every five years, and made available in accessible formats upon request.

 

Accessibility Policy

1. Purpose

ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. is committed to providing an inclusive, barrier-free environment for employees, contractors, clients, and visitors. This policy outlines our approach to accessibility in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR), and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Our goal is to ensure dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity for all.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, volunteers, contractors, and third-party service providers acting on behalf of ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. at any Ontario-based facility.

3. Our Commitment

We are dedicated to identifying, removing, and preventing barriers to accessibility in a timely and respectful manner; ensuring all services and employment practices uphold dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity; meeting or exceeding all requirements under the AODA and IASR; and embedding accessibility into organizational planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

4. Accessible Customer Service

Assistive Devices: Individuals may use their own assistive devices. Staff are trained to support the use of devices available on-site. Communication: We communicate in ways that consider individual needs and provide accessible formats and communication supports upon request. Service Animals: Service animals are permitted in all areas open to the public unless prohibited by law. Support Persons: Individuals may be accompanied by a support person at any time. No additional fees will be charged.

5. Notice of Temporary Disruption

If accessible services, facilities, or equipment are temporarily unavailable, ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. will provide prompt notice including the reason for the disruption, the expected duration, and alternative arrangements if available. Notices will be posted in accessible locations and formats.

6. Training

All employees, volunteers, and relevant contractors receive training on AODA and IASR requirements, Accessible Customer Service Standards, interacting and communicating with individuals with various disabilities, supporting the use of assistive devices, service animals, and support persons, and procedures for receiving and responding to accessibility concerns. Training is provided during onboarding and refreshed regularly. Records are maintained and reviewed annually.

7. Feedback Process

Accessibility-related feedback at ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. is welcomed and encouraged. Comments may be submitted by email ([email protected]), in person (Human Resources Department, Head Office, or Management Team), or through alternative formats or communication supports upon request. All accessibility feedback will be reviewed by the Executive Assistant, Human Resources, and/or designated members of the Management Team, and responses will be provided within 10 business days. Accessible formats will be provided upon request.

8. Employment Accessibility

We accommodate individuals with disabilities throughout the employment lifecycle, including recruitment, assessment and selection, onboarding, individual accommodation plans, individualized emergency response plans, return-to-work processes, and accessible performance and career development processes.

9. Accessible Formats & Communication Supports

Upon request, ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports for public information, workplace information, emergency procedures, and feedback processes. Requests will be addressed in a timely manner and at no additional cost.

10. Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. maintains a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan that outlines strategies for identifying, removing, and preventing barriers; tracks progress toward AODA compliance; is reviewed and updated at least every five years; and is available in accessible formats upon request. Should ICE Dragon Corrosion Inc. undertake the construction or redevelopment of public spaces, applicable accessibility requirements under the AODA will be incorporated into the planning and implementation of those projects.

11. Policy Review and Updates

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as required to reflect legislative changes or organizational practices. Any policy that does not promote dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity will be revised or removed.
