Corrosion Control Plan for operating gold mine

Supporting the development of a site-wide corrosion management plan to ensure corrosion risk due to saline water is managed throughout operations.
Designed to integrate (“zipper”) into the existing asset management plan structure.
Providing corrosion engineering input into failures of piping, tanks, structures, and concrete.
Designing an ongoing integrity management program.
Focusing on high-quality data collection to support future decision-making, including budgets, resources, scheduling, risk, and service-life analysis.

Designed and developed the CMP to align with organisational culture and requirements.
Ensured alignment across a multi-stakeholder organisation, with full leadership support for the CMP direction.
Embedded ICE implementation teams supporting the client with training, hands-on coaching, corrosion audits, and data collection.
Completed a full corrosion risk assessment of the frigate to enable work and resource prioritisation and identify solution opportunities.
Conducted cathodic protection design review and improvements.
Developed protective coating specifications, product adoption, and testing programmes.
